A role decides what someone can open and change. The database holds the same rule as the screens, so a page someone cannot open is refused to them whatever they try. A role is access; a share of the money is a separate record, which is why some roles are paid and some are not.
- Owner
- Owns the account: sees every figure, changes everything and pays everyone. The account's first owner keeps the remainder of every store's net profit; a co-owner has a profit share of their own.
- Member
- Works on the store: adds and edits orders, listings and adjustments, receives deliveries, counts and corrects stock and posts in the Feed. Never sees the balance or anyone's pay. Paid nothing.
- Viewer
- Reads the store's figures, orders, listings and expenses, and changes nothing. Paid nothing.
- Virtual assistant
- Works on the store as a member does, and is paid a share of its net profit, which they read on their Earnings.
- Client
- Owns a store you run, and is paid a share of its net profit. Reads their own page alone: their share, the net profit it comes from and their payments.
- Investor
- Pays for goods on their own cards and earns a share of the profit on the orders and deliveries they funded. Reads their own page alone.
- Processor
- Places your orders on their own cards for an agreed discount, and is paid back for the goods. Reads the orders they place and what their cards paid; never a sale price, a fee or a profit.
- Accountant
- The owner's accountant: reads every page and figure the owner reads on the stores they are given, and changes nothing but the Lock date. Holds no place on the plan.
Stores
Each person works on the stores they are given. A member or a viewer can be limited to some of the account's stores; an owner always has every one.
How shares come out of the profit
An investor's share comes off first, on the profit of the goods their own cards funded. What is left is net profit, shared between the owner and everyone on a profit share. Shares on a store can never add up to more than all of it, on any day.
