Inventory lists every SKU on sale that keeps its stock, one row each. It appears for a store that keeps its own stock, and the stock moves itself: a sale takes units off, a return to stock and a delivery put them back, and every change is a movement in the SKU's stock history. A row opens the SKU with its history.

The figures
- Available
- Units you can still sell.
- Committed
- Units sold and still on the shelf, waiting to go.
- On hand
- Available and committed together: what a count should find.
- Reorder point
- At or below it the SKU is low, in Needs attention and the notifications. A new SKU starts on the store's default.
- Stock value
- Available units at their unit cost. A SKU whose cost isn't entered reads Cost not entered and is left out of the total, which says how many it leaves out; so are the Dashboard's and the year end's.
- Days of supply
- How long the available units last at the last 30 days' rate of sales.
- Last sale
- The day it last sold.
The views
- Low stock
- At or below the reorder point, out of stock and oversold included. The Dashboard's low stock row opens it.
- Out of stock
- No units available.
- Oversold
- Sold more than were on the shelf: stock below zero. Correct the order, or adjust the stock once you know why.
- Not sold in 90 days
- Units to sell that sold none in the last 90 days.
Adjusting stock
A SKU's figure changes only through a movement with a reason, never by typing over it. Adjust stock asks for the units and the reason:
- Correction
- Put a figure right. It moves units and no money; anyone who works on the stock can make one.
- Damaged, Theft or loss, Promotion or donation
- Write the units off at their cost, as stock written off, which comes off net profit. The owner's.
- Found
- Write units back, no more than the SKU has written off. The owner's.
A movement dated on or before the Lock date is refused.
Opening balances
To start keeping stock for SKUs you already hold, the owner imports their opening balances from a file, each posted as the SKU's Opening balance. See Importing a file.
