A listing opens on its own page: the product on its sales channel, what one unit earns, its variants and their stock, its details, and the figures it is judged by. Edit opens its form in the page's place (Finish draft for a draft, Restore for an archived product). Its address follows the product, so a renamed product keeps it.

The page
- Photos
- Every photo of the product, its main one first, then each variant's, named. Choose a small one to see it large.
- What one unit earns
- The price less the sales channel's fees and the unit cost: profit per unit, its return on cost and the grade it earns. The calculator beside it tries another price.
- Variants
- Each variant is its own SKU, with its price, cost, stock, codes and reorder point.
- Stock history
- Every movement on a SKU that keeps its stock: each sale, return, delivery, count and adjustment, with who made it.
- Messages
- On a product on eBay, the questions and messages buyers sent about it, each opening to be read and answered (see Messages).
- Activity
- Who created the listing and, for the owner and their accountant, every change since.
Adjust stock puts a SKU's figure right with a reason; Copy to store copies the product, its photos with it, to another store of the account, and to a store on the same marketplace its eBay category, condition and item specifics too. A product on eBay has End on eBay, which takes it off sale there and keeps it here, and once ended, Relist on eBay.
The form
- Price and cost
- Each variant's price and unit cost, and the sales channel's fees per unit, estimated from its rate card (marked Estimated) or typed from your invoice (Custom). On eBay UK, the category decides the final value fee; Fee rate and Ad rate can be typed over.
- Stock and codes
- Whether a SKU keeps its stock, its SKU code and barcode (each unique in the store) and its reorder point. Codes alone where the store keeps no stock.
- Details
- When it was listed, its order label (the name an order finds it by, used by however many orders), sell-through, supplier links, notes and its grade: from the numbers, or set by hand.
- Photos and description
- Up to 24 photos, where your plan includes pictures, the first the main one, and for a product with variants up to 12 of each variant's own; move a photo earlier or remove it with its buttons. Then an optional description in HTML, written and previewed. They are product copy, not the books, so neither is exported. A product on eBay keeps its description under On eBay, and its own photos, moved, removed or added here, go to eBay as you save, at least one always; each variant's stay as eBay has them.
- On eBay
- For a store connected to eBay, what a product not yet on eBay is to be there: its category, suggested from the product name (choosing one sets the fee category it falls in), its condition, the item specifics eBay requires and, under Recommended item specifics, those it recommends, your postage, payment and return policies and the item location it is sent from. Where you have one policy of a kind, or one location, it is used. The account's owner can opt in to business policies, which eBay can take up to 24 hours to turn on, and add a location by its postcode. A VAT-registered business seller's listing shows its VAT rate once the VAT number is on the eBay account. A product with variants names its variation details (what the variants differ by, up to five, such as Size and Colour), each variant's value for each and the detail its photos vary by; a SKU whose stock isn't tracked gives the quantity it lists, a tracked one lists its Available less the buffer kept back. The line at its foot names what eBay still needs; once nothing is, Publish on eBay saves the listing and lists it on eBay, its photos sent for eBay to copy. If eBay refuses, the form opens again on what was saved with eBay's own words. None of it is needed to save the listing. For a product already on eBay it holds the listing as eBay has it now: its title, description, condition and item specifics, each changed one sent to eBay as you save. eBay keeps the title of a listing that has sold, so that one is read-only. If eBay refuses a change, the form stays open with eBay's words, the rest saved here.
Add a variant adds a SKU; Fill down copies a value to every variant below it. Save listing saves it; a new listing can be saved as a draft. On a product that is on eBay, a price changed here goes to eBay as you save, and the toast says whether eBay took it. Renaming a product asks whether its orders change name with it: an order is linked to its listing by its id, so either way the link holds.
Common questions
Why did the grade not change when I changed the price?
A grade set by hand stays until you choose From the numbers again.
Can a SKU stop keeping its stock?
Only once it holds no units. Adjust its stock to 0 first.
